Setup: count the cables before buying
The HKS202-P23 solves a messy job, so the cable count is not subtle.
For each computer, TESmart's manual calls for one bundled KVM cable—an HDMI lead paired with a USB-A-to-USB-B data connection—plus one additional HDMI cable. That creates two video feeds and one USB host connection per computer.

The documentation does not turn a quoted refresh rate into a guarantee for HDR, variable refresh rate, unusual color depth, or a particular adapter chain.
